And guard like royal

If you friend him

 True and loyal.

His golden mane like sunshine

With kingly purple rays,

He shakes when he is stirred by love

A river deep for days. 

Don't let his quiet manner

Mislead you into thinking

There is no roar within him

See, now his eyes a'twinkling!"
